Natürlich wieder einen Epson Perfection - ich kenn nix besseres, obwohl Canon mächtig aufgeholt hat ;-)
wow, that Jodie Foster cover looks really cool. I just hope i can find one in a newstand in São Paulo.

i've reactivated my old Umax Astra so i can at least do some B/W scans meanwhile :-)
I have an Epson Perfection 4870 Photo.
Good stuff... But I'm an occasional scanner...
I bought a canon 4200f. Great functionality, but I suspect the "f" stands for "f"ed up. The new one cratered after 30 or so scans. What everyone really needs to know is that Canon just sends you a refurb. I got maybe five scans out of the refurb which before it stopped working. Seems the USB port was bad. The second refurb started making the same clanking noise (loud) that the original one did. So now I'm on my third refurb (in two months.) No problems so far after fifteeb scans. Seems I once bought a fairly expensive Canon digital camera (about $900). The recharge cord couldn't make contact with the camera. Although the manual said that if this that happened to "push it in harder" or some such nonsense. Fortunately I just got my money back on that. Needless to say, I will never by another canon anything. PS, the scans looked pretty good for a $99 machine.

meiner macht auch so merkwürdige sachen... ^^
aber ich habe eine epson und einen canon. der canon hat mich noch nicht überzeugt. canon hat probleme mit der gleichmäßigen helligkeitsverteilung.
also ich sehe das wie tux -> Epson Perfection
